Unlike an usual dispense that use a tube or straw, an airless pump bottle works with a vacuum mechanism.The contents inside the vacuum bottle can be completely isolated from the air to avoid the oxidation and deterioration of the product due to air contact.

Airless pump bottles feature an internal diaphragm which houses a piston mechanism, a disc is placed at the base of the bottle prior to filling. When the pump is pressed, the disc rises upwards to push the contents up and out through the dispensing nozzle. This also can avoid the gaps which can fill with air.
